Chapter 14: The first great clan war. ( April 18Th, 2020 - June 29Th 2020)

The war finally came to an end after a cease fire on the 29Th of June, 2020. Ironically both sides of the conflict, the Ascending Dawn and the Black Dragons, both of whom swore to destroy the opposing group, did not accomplish this. The BD never succeeded in making an assault on the AD HQ, a mix of guerrilla warfare on the part of the AD, and a major increase of N4 activity prevented the Black Dragons success in the war, while the AD, who had a decimated army after the Battle of the Eastern Base, never gained enough steam to push and advance into BD territory. Many outpost historians agree that the first great clan war, was an idealism war, a war that served no purpose then to lose blood in the glory of a certain philosophy. Despite the First Great Clan War not having the destruction to Fairview the Second Clan Great Clan War (see chapter 17) had, or the experimentation with the N4 that was seen in the Third Great Clan War (See chapter 23) was by far the bloodiest, an estimated 3000 troops died from all sides. It is said that those who do not follow history are bound to repeat it, in this case we are fools tree times over.
